At Seventeen – Janis Ian

Sometimes when I hear modern music I wonder if kids will grow up and look back on it with fondness.  Perhaps it’s not the beauty of the music itself, but where you where in life and who you were with.  Regardless, I often hear music from my youth and realize how much I like the music.

This is one of those songs.  I’m thinking Janis is having the last laugh, based on the one and only high school reunion I attended, my 20th.  Those blonde cheerleaders were looking a little rough around the edges.
