Bumper Sticker of the Day

About the same time I interviewed for my current job, a position for a librarian at a new branch library opened up.  I applied for both, hedging my bets.  I was offered, and accepted, the non-librarian position, and although the pay is a bit low, I am enjoying what I do.  This week I got a call to interview for the librarian position and I’m debating what to do.  Part of me thinks I should be using my education for its intended purpose, although a bigger part of me has decided I really don’t liking working with the public anymore.

So after some thought, I’ve decided to take this bumper sticker saying to heart and turn down the offer to interview.  Doing so means I’m turning down a 65% pay increase (assuming I was offered the position) but I’ve learned a bit late in life that money doesn’t buy happiness.
