Petsitting

My neighbor went out of town for the weekend so we pet sat her Japanese Fighting Fish, Raoul.  I’ve never been much of a fish fan, but I like the simplicity of taking care of him.  Two pellets of fish food twice a day.  That’s it!  Of course I don’t know how often the water has to be changed and how long you have to wait until all the chlorine dissipates, etc.  My neighbor recently moved here from Connecticut so she had Raoul wedged between pillows in the backseat of her Subaru for a couple thousand miles.

I like the “fish bowl” though.

This was so much easier than taking care of a dog.  But Raoul doesn’t give fish kisses either.
