I do not speak any foreign languages, but I wish I did. In fact, I would very much like to live in a foreign country and if the economy in this one continues its current trend, I might not have a choice. Because I am also a pet lover, I found this clever ad for learning a foreign language on YouTube.
I watched the beginning of the Republican National Convention on BBC last night and they had the good taste not to show the RNC’s video tribute to 9/11. I did watch it, however, just now on YouTube.
I don’t know who made the decision to air this, but it says mountains about what the Republican party has become and where, apparently, it is still headed.
Why anyone would cheer and applaud for such blatant pandering is simply beyond comprehension.
And they want the American public to give them another chance? Not this time. How much longer before we’ll have a new label - Neolib to describe those good people who are running as fast as they can away from the GOP?
